How this works:
When you enter one of the ECard creation pages, an Applet is loaded. The applet will show you what the video you create will look like.
For this to work you need Java on your computer. If you don't have Java, or a too old version of Java, you are asked to download it. If you answer correctly to the few questions that pop up, Java will automatically install.
On the ECard creation page, you will be presented with various "personalities" you can choose to deliver your greeting. Just click on the picture to select it. You can also choose voice and then type the message you want the personality to say.
How to create a video greeting:
- Choose a "personality" by clicking the picture. In some cases you may also select a background and a picture text by clicking on pictures.
- Write the text you want the character to say.
- Push the "Read text" button. The server will then create the animation for you to see.
- You can make new selections and change the text. For some alternatives there are limits to how many times this can be done, and you will find information about this on the ECard pages.
- When you are finished with creating the video you can send it to an email address.
- Payment is done via Payex or PayPal, and there you can also use creditcards (VISA, MasterCard). If you have a Norwegian phone number, PayEx allows you to pay by SMS.
How the video is delivered to an email address:
The receiver will get an email with a link to a web-page. The web-page holds your ECard video greeting. The video is in Windows Media format that can be shown by most computers and operating systems. The receiver needs a sound card to enjoy the video in full.
