About the voices:
All voices except "Ola" are enabled by Acapela Group. "Ola" is created by Telenor R&D.
The voices are synthetic. Therefore the words and sentences may not be pronounced in the way you would expect. Here comes a few tips on how to "trick" the voice into pronouncing what you have written in the most natural way:
- Check that what you wrote is actually correct!!!
This is the most common cause of unnatural speech... - Do not write words in upper case, the speech engine may
think that it should spell out the letters of such words. - Try different punctuation marks in the end of a sentence,
for instance comma, period and question mark. - Write more phonetically correct (as words are pronounced).
This is easiest to do in languages were words are written
closer to how they are pronounced. - Add small words like some, always, etc.
- Rephrase the sentence, it is often easier than you think.
- Short, simple sentences are often the best.
